The Tadelakt is a bright and waterproof wall covering made from lime. Its physical characteristics make it suitable to be used both indoors and outdoors. It is the traditional coating of the hammam baths and palaces of Morocco .
It has the distinction of being finished with river pebbles and to be treated with black soap to give it its final appearance. The natural soap used, based on olive oil , gives the material its impermeability, allowing its use for tubs and sinks.
